- 2 Raw bananas
- 3 table spoons Turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- Iced cold water
- Oil to fry
1. Peel the bananas and place them in ice-cold water.
2. Cut bananas in very thin slices and keep them in iced cold water.
3.Add turmeric powder and salt to taste in the water. Leave them in for 10 minutes.
4.Air dry to drain excess moisture from every chips.
5. Fry these banana chips in whatever oil you like.
As I don’t like coconut oil, I haven’t used the same. So my chips are not so typical South Indian type.
